Wine Country Inn is preparing a traditional feast to celebrate a Vineyard Thanksgiving that can take the hassle out of your holiday. The generous buffet will feature all your favorite dishes, from roast turkey, baked ham and the trimmings to pumpkin and pecan pie.

The buffet will be served from 12:30 pm to 4 pm, with two seatings to accommodate family schedules. The first begins at 12:30 pm; the second, at 2 pm. Cost is $25.99 for adults and $12.99 for children aged 3 to 12 years, plus tax and gratuity. Beverages are included and a cash bar featuring wine and cocktails will be available.

As a bonus for out of towners, the Inn is offering a Holiday Special of $229 plus tax for two adults for two nights. That price also covers the Thanksgiving Buffet for two adults, complimentary hot breakfast and afternoon wine reception. The offer is good for Wednesday, Nov. 23 or Thursday, Nov. 25.

“There are a lot of guests who prefer to come a day early so they can visit the tasting rooms at our neighboring wineries, then enjoy a full buffet on Thanksgiving Day,” explains Jerome Strack, General Manager. “The holiday is more fun for Mom if she doesn’t have to cook and clean up.”

He also points out that if guests want to stay over Thursday night after Thanksgiving, they will have an advantage to do some shopping in Palisade or Grand Junction on Friday, the official start of the Christmas holidays.
